TASK 1:
-Logo Tracing
This is my logo tracing task which I done. I use adobe illustrator to recreate the logo below. You will be able to compare between the original logo and the logo I made. I made three logo which is Target,Android, and Overwatch.
Logo : Target
The screenshot above shows the steps that i use to make the logo.Firstly,I download the logo from google image in order to do the logo tracing. Secondly, I trace the shape of the logo by using ellipse (L) tool to help me with the logo. Lastly, I use eyedropper tool to get the colour of the logo then I add in the colour to the logo I created.
Logo: Android
The screenshot above shows the steps that i use to make the logo.Firstly,I download the logo from google image in order to do the logo tracing. Secondly, I trace the shape of the logo by using pentool, ellipse (L),and rectangle (M) to help me with the logo. Lastly, I use eyedropper tool to get the colour of the logo then I add in the colour to the logo I created.
Logo: Overwatch
The screenshot above shows the steps that i use to make the logo.Firstly,I download the logo from google image in order to do the logo tracing. Secondly, I trace the shape of the logo by using pentool and ellipse (L) to help me with the logo. Lastly, I use eyedropper tool to get the colour of the logo then I add in the colour to the logo I created.
TASK 2:
-Low Poly
This is my low poly task which I done. I use adobe illustrator to turn the picture into low poly. You will be able to see on how I made this step by step. I made a low poly of cleo wattenström.
Based on the first picture I kinda skip where I do the outline of the screenshot and there's some differences between the first screenshot and the rest. Basically, I have some issue on doing the low poly on the hands and body because I just started doing it. So, the second screenshot I show the outline of the low poly so you'll see how I made the triangle to create the low poly effect. After that, I just add in colours into it. The final screenshot is the finish low poly.
This is another low poly task which I done. I use adobe illustrator to turn the picture into low poly. You will be able to see on how I made this step by step. I made a low poly of cockatoo bird.
My second low poly is no differences from the first one the only differences is the image. The method I use to make this effect work is the same as I did on the first low poly.
TASK 3:
-Photo Collage
This is my photo collage task which I done. I use adobe photoshop to create the following picture. You will be able to see on how I made this step by step. I have made two photo collage, one of is cartoon and my favourite music artist Oliver Sykes.
The first thing I do is find all the picture that I want to do for my photo collage by doing so I search a few images at google and place one of them in photoshop so i can start with my photo collage
After adding the first image in photoshop as a background then I add my main image which is a cartoon character from Star Wars and crop him out from the original image.
After I crop the cartoon character I start to make it more smooth by erasing or colour the extras of the cropped character.
Then I add the second character to my photo collage which is Finn's nightmare who also known as TR-8R TRAITOR! Basically what I do is I just crop the head and make a blue so he look more likely as a ghost and add some shadow beneath it. As for Finn I add a light colour lighting on his clothes to reflected the ghost's glow.
Before I save it into a web form here it is in photoshop.
My second photo collage is an artist I admire which is Oliver Sykes so basically I get a picture of a forest then I add in a picture of Oliver Sykes and crop the background from Oliver's picture. After doing so I make Oliver screen to become lighter so the background is visible then I crop the rest of the extra background which surround Oliver. So, in result its just a forest behind a screen picture of Oliver.
TASK 4:
-Animal Portrait
This is my animal portrait. Basically I'm doing a giraffe portrait with a model body. So,the first step I did s to get a giraffe head or a portrait of a giraffe and the I crop the image out from the original background.
What I did here is I crop the model's head and replace it with the giraffe.
In result become a giraffe man.
This screenshot basically show me fixing the collar of the denim jacket using smudge tool.
Then I notice the shirt is to dull so to make it even more stylish. So, I add an image in it then crop it out and it left just the skull image.
This is how it look like when I crop The image.
This image show you guys where I make it smoother and clean. So, it look like a real printed t-shirt.
Task 5 : Final Project
My final project is vector art as you can see down below which is a vector art of Julian Casablancas.
Basically I cannot copy this art to be my final project because I think it would be copyright. So, instead I'm gonna use the picture as a example or a base for my vector art and I manage to change it into some thing different.
This is the picture where I take from google and load it into Adobe Illustrator
This is where I start to trace the picture using a pen tool. I start it from the outline of the picture.
This is where i start to trace the face of the vector.
So, here is finish tracing of the vector and I already add a black background also remove the body.
Here's the picture without the highlighted layers.
This is where i make everything different which I want to add an American flag behind him in order to do the way i want to I redo the body and trace the outline of the whole vector to get the the shape i want for my American flag.
Here's the finsih flag which tun out the way I wanted then I add some starts.
This screenshot shows that I expand the flag to get it look even better.
This is the final assignment for semester 1 in basic computer. The final assignment is vector art so here's the finish product. Basically the final work have less description because most of the thing I used to make this is the same as my previous assignment. So, hopefully it's a good vector.
